Camp Cook Jack
Jack makes camp cooking look easy here, with a beer in one hand and his grill tongs in the other, but we all know it's very hard work to put out a great meal.

Our wonderful camp cook, Jack Chadwell of Jay Em, Wyoming poses with Christine, when he let her help him prepare the evening meal.

Happy Faces
Dr. Sue and Ol' Paint are happy pards.

In the Desert
This little mustang was called Brick, a pretty typical style of these hardy horses. Bobbi rode him a lot that season and a few skilled ladies got along with him well.
|
|
Larry & Ranger
Larry has become a good friend and helps us every year with camp setup and breakdown, and we try to get him out to ride too. Ranger, the horse, was a one-of-a-kind horse, the kind that would come through for you no matter what.

Indian paintbrush is the Wyoming state flower. It is usually represented by the scarlet color, however it grows in many shades, from yellow to burnt orange, depending on the altitude and habitat.

Riding Free
A perfect illustration of "blue sky sage", these ladies ride free and easy in the wide open spaces.
|
|
Rock Formation
There are many unusual rock formations in the Little Sandy and Prospect Peak areas where we ride.

|
Slowed Down, but Not Stopped
All of our saddle horses are "hobble broke" so we can secure them, or at least slow them down considerably, when we stop to take a break and for our lunch stops. It's a safe way to contain a horse without tying him up. Buckwheat demonstrates!

Summer Concert
The ladies gather for an early evening concert by Bobbi and Emily.

Sweetwater River
A nice shot of the Sweetwater River in August. Larry is riding Laramie Bill here.
