How Do I Get There?

Fly in to Jackson Hole, Wyoming

SPECIAL TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT FOR
TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE WEEK!

August 14-21, 2017, GIRLS RIDE OUT! ITINERARY

For the week of August 14-21, we are directing guests to fly into Riverton Regional Airport, out of Denver International Airport. WE WILL PICK UP AND RETURN GUESTS IN RIVERTON THAT WEEK! We have added an extra day/night with meals in camp for August 20, and will take in the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE at the airport in Riverton at 10:30 a.m. on August 21, with your pre-booked DenverAirConnection departure at 12:29 p.m. to follow. Hotels in nearly every town in Wyoming are already booked full from August 18-22, so accommodations are scarce for pre- and post-ride accommodations. You will need to fly in to Riverton on Flight #1011 for pickup at the airport at 11:59 a.m. on Monday, August 14, or a hotel in Riverton if you want to come in on August 13 and stay overnight. Plan to fly out on Flight #1011 on Monday, August 21 at 12:29 p.m. We recommend that you don't plan on staying overnight in a hotel in Riverton, as the actual eclipse occurs on August 21 and the state is expecting a huge influx of people everywhere.  For more information on the air service available into Riverton, click here. We are more than happy to help you plan this part of your trip to Wyoming.

FOR ALL OTHER RIDE WEEKS IN 2017:
Round trip shuttle transportation between Jackson and the camp COMPLIMENTARY. You need to arrive in Jackson Hole the DAY BEFORE Day 1 of your ride and plan on staying overnight in the town of Jackson.  Pickup will be at 9:00 a.m., arriving at the camp by noon.  On Day 7, departure from camp will be at 9:00 a.m. and arriving back in Jackson by 1:00 p.m. or so. Plan on staying in Jackson again on the evening of Day 7 and enjoying an evening "out on the town" if you like.  If you must fly out on Day 7, the earliest flight we could accommodate would be no earlier than 3:00 p.m.

Flying in to Jackson's Hole also offers you the opportunity to include several additional days before or after your ride exploring and enjoying the "crown jewels" of Wyoming destinations, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

*Note:  Very few lodging properties offer free airport shuttle, so you will have to catch the Jackson Hole Shuttle ($16 one way or $31 round trip), the Alltrans Shuttle, or a cab into town from the Jackson Hole Airport.

*NOTE: After much consideration, we have decided that we will no longer be able to allow the use of any saddles on our horses except our own Blue Sky Sage Double Wade Women's Saddle. Proper saddle fit is just so critical to the comfort and safety of both horse and rider, and even the slightest discomfort causes problems for the horses. Our custom-designed saddles properly fit our horses and are safe and reasonably comfortable for most riders; thank you for your understanding!

Here is the Google Map of the exact location of our current camp on Little Sandy Creek, off the west slope of the southern Wind River mountain range. The horse icon is camp.
