All-Inclusive, 7 Days / 6 Nights / 5 Full Days of Active Riding, featuring:

  • ONLY SIX RIDERS PER WEEK - Hands-on, natural horsemanship instruction and learning opportunities daily in a small, intimate group.
  • Staff ratio of 1:2 and every day you ride with lifetime Wyoming professional horsemen, Bobbi & Mike Wade.
  • Well-mannered saddle horses that are specially selected especially for active, "open range" riding.
  • Custom designed and built tack, featuring the Blue Sky Sage "Double Wade" Saddle for the ultimate comfort of both horse and rider.
  • Fine outdoor living "off the grid" with a weatherproof, solo range tent for each guest, appointed with comfortable cot, mattress, and sleeping bag.
  • Excellent traditional western fare, with accommodations for special dietary needs, prepared in camp daily by our staff cook, from first day lunch through last day breakfast.
  • Round trip transportation from gateway city of Lander, Wyoming on first and last day of the week. 
  • Price includes: All camp lodging, sleeping bags, Horses and activities, camp equipment, staff, and meals from first day lunch through last morning breakfast; round trip shuttle from Lander, Wyoming.

  • Not Included: Transportation into Wyoming, travel insurance, gratuities, pre- and/or post-ride hotel accommodations and meals, liquor and sodas (BYOB, we will stop in town before going out to camp to purchase), and items of a personal nature.

All arrivals/pickups/returns will be in Lander, Wyoming. Plan on arriving in Lander, Wyoming (air service into Riverton Regional Airport by DenverAir Connection via United Airlines on the day before the trip start day, and flying out the day after the trip end date). Or if you prefer, you can fly into Denver, Salt Lake City, Jackson or Casper, Wyoming, rent a car and drive to Lander and we'll meet you there.

High Wild & Lonesome LLC dba Blue Sky Sage:

Blue Sky Sage has taken care of all the details for your horseback riding vacation once you arrive at the camp in Wyoming.

Price Includes:  All camp lodging & meals; Horses and activities; camp equipment and staff from first days' lunch through last morning breakfast; round trip shuttle transport between Lander, Wyoming and camp; taxes.

Not Included:  Transportation into Wyoming, additional pre- or post- ride overnight accommodations, gratuities, liquor (BYOB) and items of personal nature.

Deposit / Refund / Cancellation Policies:

$1500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT required upon booking to hold reservation. Balance due in full 45 days prior to arrival, NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment options include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express submitted securely through this website; or ACH check paid online through a QuickBooks invoice; or personal or cashier's check in U.S. FUNDS ONLY payable to Blue Sky Sage, P.O. Box 116, Big Piney, WY 83113. Sorry, no personal checks from Canada or other countries. IF CUSTOMER CANCELS FOR ANY REASON, NO REFUNDS OF ANY PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE. If High Wild & Lonesome LLC, dba Blue Sky Sage Horseback Adventures cancels any ride, any or all deposit/final payments can be carried over to another trip during the same year or for the following year only, full refund can be made upon customer request in this circumstance only.

Round Trip Shuttle between Lander, Wyoming & the Camp, compulsory:  COMPLIMENTARY! (just think, no rental car parked for over a week somewhere!)

Minimum age for participants on any horseback riding vacation is 16 years old if accompanied by parent or guardian. No one under 21 without parent or guardian.  High Wild & Lonesome LLC (dba Blue Sky Sage Horseback Adventures) reserves the right to alter or cancel any attractions, dates or activities that do not meet the high standards of the company, due to unforeseen circumstances. These circumstances include but are not limited to: unfavorable weather conditions, unsafe travel conditions, insufficient bookings or land management changes.  If High Wild & Lonesome LLC (dba Blue Sky Sage Horseback Adventures) cancels any ride, any or all deposits/final payments made can be carried over to another trip during the same year or for the following year only.  Full refund may be made also, upon customer’s request.

WE STRONGLY URGE ALL CUSTOMERS TO CONSIDER ADDING TRAVEL INSURANCE COVERAGES TO THEIR TRIP PLANS.
